Lotus Pond + Gazebo. The Lotus Pond, constructed in 1989, was one of the first landscape features created at the sculpture park. Shortly thereafter the park’s founder requests that a gazebo be built adjacent to the pond with its deck at water level. This created a distinctive space in the heart of the sculpture garden.
