Long story short, my watch was completely destroyed. I called Asurion and they had a new watch at my door the next day. The deductible may seem high (mine was $150) but it’s a helluva lot cheaper than outright replacing a $400 device. Except if you factor in the cost of the plan as well.

A few years ago they switched it to Asurion and didn't bother to inform me that they were changing providers, or that my deductible was going up from $50 to either $125 or $250.
